"Jewel of the West definitely lives up to its name. Stevie carries the most gorgeous handbags, clothing, boots, shoes, scarves, and, of course, the most beautiful collection of silver and turquoise jewelry in the West. Everything is unique and unlike anything you will find elsewhere, including a stunning Johnny Was collection, Articles of Society, Ivy Jane, Uncle Frank, Double D Ranch, Pendleton, Chile Rose, Peyote Bird, and more. There are lots of cute graphic tees, too. If you are looking for a special gift or something wonderful for yourself, this is THE place to come. Stevie even carries a beautiful pocket knife collection that is unmatched. Be sure to watch Stevie’s weekly Facebook videos called “Turquoise Tuesday” and “What’s New Wednesday,” which are so fun and a great way to see new merchandise, especially if you can’t get into the store personally. Stevie offers virtual shopping and will even ship your items to your home or business. I absolutely adore Stevie. She and her friendly staff are always warm and welcoming and available to answer your questions. No trip to the Black Hills is complete without visiting Jewel of the West in Hill City, South Dakota."

"This store is amazing and a MUST if you are anywhere near Hill City, South Dakota! Their inventory includes something for everyone! The jewelry collection includes jewelry made in South Dakota. The boots/shoes selection will take you anywhere from the grocery store to a music festival! Their fresh selection of t-shirts include graphics that range from "Yellowstone" to vintage bands. The staff is very friendly and helpful!"

"I love Jewel of the West so much !_This beautiful store has something for everyone!_Gorgeous cowboy boots , the most luscious handbags , beautiful jackets and coats and great denim and cute tees !_There is a huge selection of pristine turquoise jewelry pieces and you can even buy a custom made cowboy hat ! Candles that smell so good and they carry the Pendleton blankets!_The ladies are always friendly and not pushy and it is so amazing to have a store like this local here so you can try things on in person and not have to wait for something to be shipped to you!_5 stars all the way! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
